Everyone of us has got that one special album by a certain band, which once turned everything out, changed the whole essence of life, and basically severed ones being on "BEFORE" and "AFTER" sections...
Some say it was "Reigning Blood", or "Vulgar Display of Power", or "Master of Puppets", or "Beneath the Remains", or "Tomb of the Mutilated" or.... well pretty much a countless number of genious works by different heavy metal bands.

Sure as fuck i happened to experience the same... And it s like a first time fornicating the dead! ( Yeah, like you haven t...! Just kidding. ) or Like first time jerking off with Playboy magazine in front of you ( You can t deny i didn t do it - you depraved bastrard!!!)

Well my soul and mind lost virginity listening to this INSANELY GIFTED, Modern-Thrash Oriented band from U.K. called:

D E A R L Y B E H E A D E D

Too bad they split up shortly after they unleashed that monster of an album, too bad they were overlooked by so many lables, too bad they re just not around anymore...

That swansong masterpiece was titled " CHAMBER OF ONE"

And i say: It s one of the most finest moments in Metal History, it s easily THE BEST METAL ALBUM of 1997, It s classic and cult., plain and simple.

Things like this are seldom-happened affair indeed, cos everything s so bloody top-notch - Lyrics, Vocals, a whole bunch of genious ideas formed into KILLER RIFFS, Brilliant Rhythm Section.

Every detail works for one single goal: To create an athmospheric, full of passion and anger effigy in shape of 10 song album. And damn these guys succeeded!

Alex Creamer spews his malice forth as a maniac! Coming across as" Phil Anselmo meets Rob Flynn meets Burton C Bell" vocalist, he is a driving force behind the mic.
Just listen to " A Dead Issue " - and you ll get the idea.
I m struggling to pick a one certain track off of the album to call it the best for there s not a one filler song on this piece. But aside from the aforementioned song, i d also name "Faceless" - for plain KILLER guitar work!, title track "Chamber of One" and the closing song "Haunting your Horizons", again it s already 3 songs i named!!!
they all, i mean they ALL fanFUCKINtastic!

So summing up this crappy review of mine i d say that this is a MUST HAVE album for every and each metal head.

And most of all it has an immense importance and value for myself, it had influnced me either musically, lyrically and even fuckin mentally!!!

Rest in Peace - Dearly Beheaded.

Holy cock and balls, this band rocks live!!!

As a matter of fact i nad nearly creamed my fuckin pants, when i was watching to this Masterpiece of a DVD for the 1st time!!! ( 't was 99 spins ago, which means that i had already seen for a 100 times!!! )

A long-awaited, a highly-anticipated DVD flick titled "ENRAPTURED" by One of my ULTIMATE FAVORITE BANDS OF ALL TIMES - G R A V E!

This is how DEATH fuckin METAL should sound like, this is how DEATH fuckin METAL should be played like. This Fuckers know how to deliver it, unlike GAZILLION of new-comers suddenly appeared in a recent 5-7 years or so. Which means - NO fuckin Bull-shit chit-chat between the songs, No fuckin gimmicks, No fuckin SUPA SHOW STAGE PERFORMANCE. - no! It s just a Four Legendary Guys Bringing Death Metal back from the grave and right onto the throne!

They re practically Slayer of a Death Metal.

I ve been shaking in rapid whiplash attacks each time i heard them playing the very next song during their set list., and let me tell you it was fuckin flawless one!
Guys played every single anthem of destruction and brutality from "Into the Grave" to "Burn".

The sound is amazingly clean, yet heavy as TEN TON DICK. Goddamn it s fuckin crushing!
Ola sounds just awesome! Really angry and meneacing. He even reminded me of mighty Jorgen Sandstrom on few occasions! - Great performance!
Pelle - is nothing short of a machine gun !!! I m admired with his ability to play fast but clean and hella groovy. ( too bad he had to leave the band, though...)

Beside the KILLER GIG , there s also pile of cool stuff to be found. For instance there s a great Photo Gallery , Bios and Really fun interview with Ola and Jonas

All in All - this is the one of the BEST live performances that s ever been captured by camera, by one of the most incredible bands of all times!
Its on par with Slayer's "Still Reigning" and "Deicide's "When London Burns"

Final thoughts? Ummm... - Get this fucker Right away!!!

I wonder if anyone of you( who ever reads this LJ anyway!!! ) ever felt the presence of Death so real, as i do it now?!... Shit! it s damn hard to explain, but i feel like death is closing in. Im kinda starting clearly realize, that i may die for no obvious reason at any fucken second of time, it s very weird.., and i could swear, i can feel it walkin hand by hand, right next to me. Well... not that it sort of bothers me or anything. I aint suicidal type of a guy, but i won t flee away from it either. It s just such a strange feeling, that s leaves me mystified. Frankly i dont even know why da fuck am i posting about shit like this here...!

It had eventually crossed my mind during our gig in Moscow, as our brothers in Katalepsy and myself were sitting in the bar watching Historical Value of a concert by one and only M E T A L L I C A!.

the question is what is Devotion, Loyality, Faithfullness?
Define "Staying trooo to yourself" term.

See, there s been lot of shit going on about how much Metallica "fuckin sux nowadays" , and that they ve betrayed their legacy, Fanbase and almost responsible for almost every single fuckin sin that only mortal may commit.

I say what the fuck? Know why?!

Suppose we have a band who wrote the BEST THRASH METAL ALBUMS in History and then "all of a sudden" they just "changed the direction" And this is where the Dillhemma is!

Are they "True" if they release "Master of Puppets" number 2?
- Cos they know that Fans will appreciate it...
- But they are NOT into this kind of stuff themselves anymore...

or Are they "True" if they release "Load", "Reload" cos they feel like this and basically WANT TO DO IT?
- Might Knowing that they may get a lot of shit for this...
- But ignoring this fear and actually DOING IT...

and then all these "Die-Hard Fans" just turn away, spitting, cursing and blaming the band for STAYING actually TRUE TO THEMSELVES .

So to me it seems like: Whether you satisfy the tastes of fans, basically giving them WHAT THEY WANT TO HEAR and perhaps even hating what you do thus far.
Or pursue your own musical ideas further and create just something you want cos after all YOU PLAY MUSIC FOR YOURSELF !!!

So whos a real hypocrite here? A short of faith fan? or A Band changing but MAKING music., still?

I SAY HAILS Mighty M E T A L L I C A!!! for being a HUGE inspiration to me (at least) both musically and lyrically.

So after all, there s only ONE thing that MUST exist in music - this is R E S P E C T.

I am a Fan of Metallica, i absolutly love their 1st 5 albums, i am into Load/Re-load stuff, I am NOT into "St.Anger" soooo much - but i RESPECT this one hell of a band.

At the break of the year things eventually formed into a band.(Finally for Fuck sake!!!) There s an Urge, a deep wish to let it start. I am talking about my Brand New Band - HellSpawn.

Musically we re influenced by everything that s really close to our hearts and souls.,i.e Slayer(of course!), Grave, Dismember, Obituary, Six Feet Under,Debauchery, Dearly Beheaded, Stamping Ground, Machine Head....

Decorativly speaking it s as tight as concrete rhythm section, groove-oriented mid tempo Old - School Death/Thrash Metal with fuckin solos thrown in. Rather based on Catchy Headbanging Parts then on somewhat technicality.

Just got back from Moscow!!! Had a great time hanging with our bros in KATALEPSY(Killer Band if you ask me!). Nice gig, fine trip, only i am fuckin worn out and goddamn tired and about to go to my work(Yeah! Reality bites!!!)
Fatal New Year Celebation went well and occasionally fun!!!!
Well... Ummm... i guess the summary leaves best to be desired ( like i care! ) Now pardon me i ll go dropdead my lifeless shell!

p.s. On a lighter note - once again, I want to tell Katalepsy and Nick, Much Respet Psychos!!!!!!

As the year fades away...

Musically i was both impressed and disappointed. But the most sadening fact that i was let down by one of my Ultimate Favorite Band - Grave.

"As Rapture Comes..." seemed to pick up the direction ( deviation to me...) from where "Fiendish Regression" left. Which means a clearer sound, the band basically took more modern approach to it s trademark sound. But the athmosphere is gone. They got defiantly faster. But why for? "Soulless" seems to be 10 times heavier, and "Back from the Grave" is like 100 times heavier and darker.

I always separate these meanings: either you play hella fast or you play hella heavy. So meanwhile Grave were the matter of the later case - Nowadays they are barely anything special. I d take "Hating Life" over the brand new release any day.

So i hope they return to their original sound. But i can not wish it cos i believe any band has right to do whatever the fuck they want to do with the music the play.

I ve noticed once that i happened to like things(music-wise for instance) the way they were in the beggining. For example i only appreciate the original line-ups:

Grave and Jorgen Sandstrom
Kataklysm and Sylvain Houde
Cannibal Corpse and Mr.Chris Barnes( world greatest vokiller)
Devourment and Wayne Knupp
Skinless and Sherwood
and so on and so forth...

seems like bands just change so subtly when they shift the line-up and very infrequently they get better.

"A Limpid Dream" such a state of mind

…Before he actually woke up, meanwhile his common sense was still dormant, he knew…
…He has felt he s got there and nothing was the same anymore…
…Oh! This long yearned, so limpid condition he was after for all of his existence. He was there…
…Just like in his morbid dreams in which he was trapped during his own life…..

A chain of organized order was torn, metamorphoses -unspeakable in its vicious ruthlessness were yet to be tasted..
But in the meantime he was sitting on … breathing! chair. A mutilated and disfigured flesh was rather used as clay, taken such a bizarre form as a chair, drenched in blood and guts, it was aching.
Reverted speech came from the darken corner as introduction, it exclaimed: “!eraperp. gnireffus lla fo tsekrad dna tsepeed a wonk tlahs uoht that rof dna. Enod tsuj uoy evah tahw, wonk neve t nod uoy loof” Gnome, who promised him hell, then vanished to thin air…
The very next moment he was revealed to the place he found himself at. These four oppressing walls, which he mistakenly taken for the black velvet appeared to be that of the human blood. As the waterfalls blood was shedding from the ceiling right onto the floor, yet closing in. it was way too surreal to realize what was going on, but he knew his mind, his very sick mind became the very portal transcending his own being into the most absurdist nightmare he could only imagine. And then there was pain, not the one ever felt by any of mortals. The nature of pain strikes the existence itself. The canvas of time was torn and scrolled and decimated causing an immense pain upon his flesh. Oh thy flesh! How much WE can do about it!!! And you will cease our hunger!!! Stretched in acres he wasn’t even screaming but the suffering actually affected his own subconsciousness and pulled him inside out. Reek of gore polluted the air as shaking he suddenly realize, that there was no hope for him. Never will he escape these torments because his own mind portraits them upon himself! Waist deep in the nest of serpents devouring his own entrails, he thought he pronounced: “Help me!, help me!” but the next second his pulverizing mind concluded it wasn t him! And he saw it! The epitome of his own weakness and hopelessness that he so lustfully feared but created. He kept him there, he forced him to suffer and now his own mind shall put this searing darkness into His own flesh for eternity. There, amongst the up-side down growing trees, which roots were bleeding the rivers, in which headless children were bathing. They pointed on him.
Help me Father!, was wept. And he beheld. A crucified Jesus was STILL hanging begging for mercy, and filthy sluts were desecrating his wounds over and over again in ravenous anger, this carnage proceeded.
In the state of the deepest dread he tried to release himself and run towards the crucified. But the next moment trying to move he eventually undressed himself from skin. Seeing this agony Jesus sighed and his eyes were washed away down his face with gushing blood smeared the new born, who happen to be born quartered after his mother was raped by cenobites and lately cleansed by worms. And the blackest darkness appeared on the face of the son of God.
Skinless he ran, in agony he realized that he don’t belong here, it was just a dream never meant to be reality. But as his mind closed himself from reality, he knew, he was doomed to rot forever. Watching himself and his savior, suffer his own lunacy. For every single thought materializes.

These are the first words of mine here! Not that i was going to tell bout something interesting or something at all no, rather it s somewhat exploring of things.

but anyway we are in Death Metal Band ABNORMAL are putting the last touches upon our debut disc and as i speak, our guitar players are finishing their shit and we are practically on the verge of releasing it!
